Duh!
August 9, 2011

While looking for a top to accompany this striped skirt, I thought to myself, “Self, this is going to be sooo much easier when you can wear your regular clothes again…” Wait…back it up…I can wear my regular tops…just not over the bump.
I did try to make a knot with this printed number at the bust line, but no such luck. Instead I tucked the extra fabric underneath and used a belt to hold it in place.
I will be trying this again soon. As for the heels, I think it’s time to bite the bullet and leave them in their boxes…

EEEK! So beautiful, April! You are getting creative, ma’ dear. This is one of my faves of yours (I’m sure I’ve said this before–so scratch all the other times).
I love the prints.

lol! Thanks, darling!
One of my fav looks from today’s EBEW! The crisp stripe over your bump is gorgeous, and I adore the filmy off the shoulder blouse. The leather belt is a perfect final touch–LOVE. I found you through EBEW–stop by and say hi if you have a sec this week!
So sweet of you to say…these “challenges” are fun to do. On my way to say hello : )
This was a fun challenge, Love the mixing!!

I love this look on you! Way to make this trend work with your bump — and with some well-chosen pre-preggers pieces!
That’s what KUF is all about…looking stylish during pregnancy (and beyond!)
LOVE. hands-down, my fave thus far.
as you get more creative, i get lazier. i do commend your decision to leave the heels next time…
You crack me up! I’m going crazy here just waiting to deliver! What do I do when I’m bored…play dress-up with my clothes – hopefully something looks good ; )
Your creative wardrobe is so inspiring! When my time comes to be a mama, I will surely be scouring your archives for ideas!
Just found your blog via EBEW. I love this look and even more special because there are two of you in it! Also have a crush on your hair. OK, that’s it, I’m following you as of now.
What a great idea! I’ve really been missing some of my “regular” shirts that don’t fit over the bump. I’m going to have to give this a try!
