1 little skirt
January 10, 2012

Every once in a while I’ll have little luck during a thrift run…leaving the store with one or fewer items. But when the item is something as adorable as this skirt, I don’t mind at all!
In case you were wondering about the arm parties, they have been on break for a while…and when I do decorate my wrists, it’s only for times away from the little guy. Having a stack of bracelets on your butt wiping hand is not a smart thing to do!
sweater – Target; shirt, skirt – thrift; bracelets – thrift, vintage, diy

Such a chic and cozy outfit, you look beautiful.
Hope you had a great New Year!
I have been searching for a striped skirt forever now! Searching! Great find lady
Thanks so much for stopping by, so happy to have found your blog now!

I’m loving the arm parties! I really have to get myself more bracelets like that.
Such a great look! Love your thrifted skirt.
Love that combination, I’m probably going to copy your outfit in the near future haha. Once I compile the pieces. And I just have to say, I LOVE your hair. I covet it. I’m thinking my change back to red may be sooner than I think!
My Growing Obsessions
There’s not that many red heads out there these days…you should do it!
I’ve given up dangling earrings and most necklaces…but I refuse to give up my arm parties!
That skirt is just gorgeous–perfect width of stripes. And your pictures are perfect today!
My husband will be glad to hear that someone likes his photography skills! Thanks, darling!
you can never go wrong with stripes!
yeah, arm parties and babes don’t mix. hell, sometimes i take my wedding ring off, too. i’m always afraid of stabbing the little one with my huge rock.
Ba ha! I know, right? I stopped wearing my rings during pregnancy…my husband gets so mad when he sees I’m not wearing them. But at first they don’t fit due to swelling…then they become a hazard!
Love the look, and lovin’ the arm party! Your hair looks gorgeous, too. I wish I could get mine to look like that
Thanks, Cary! To get the waves, I braid my hair into a tight frenchbraid (using small sections of hair at a time) after my hair air dries at night. Come morning I unbraid, finger comb, and top it with some hair spray. It’s super fast…that’s all I have time for!
Fab skirt (thrifting ftw!) and I love the red lip
